Empowering Girls Through Health Education

Welcome to Something BeYoutiful℠, where I believe knowledge is the key to empowerment. As a registered nurse, I'm passionate about teaching girls the facts about health, puberty, and menstruation in a fun, engaging way. Our age-appropriate health and puberty education classes are designed to help girls navigate the changes of adolescence with confidence, self-awareness, and a sense of pride. Through group sessions with peers, we learn how our bodies are designed, the changes ahead, and how to handle it all with hands-on demonstrations, visuals and discussions. Growing up comes with many questions, and these classes provide answers in a supportive and inclusive environment. I aim to make these topics less awkward, normalize conversations about puberty, and equip girls with the tools they need to embrace their bodies and their unique journey.

Topics Covered:

Understanding puberty and the changes it brings
Understanding our female anatomy
The menstrual cycle: why it happens, what to expect and how to manage it
Emotional well-being during adolescence
Hygiene tips and period product options
Helpful scenarios and tips on how to navigate the changes while at school/sporting events/etc.
Question and answer session

Whether you're a parent looking for guidance for your child, an educator seeking resources, a girl eager to learn more about her body or a parent wanting to enhance what you've started to teach your daughter, these classes are here to support you! Together, we can create a world where every girl grows up feeling informed, empowered and proud of who she is.

Classes are approximately 3 hours long and cost $60 per child/parent couple. Message me to host a class with your daughter and her friends, or drop into a welcoming group of girls hosted for you. Ideal class sizes are 10-12 girls.

Classes can be held in a home, class room, church building, etc.....Anywhere the host of the party wants to meet!
